Today I’m highlighting one of the first businesses to open & greet us when it snowed on Tuesday. School was cancelled & many business opened later due to a snow delay. SIP’s beautiful Christmas lights were such a welcoming site after taking pictures outside for a few hours!
128 E Main Street Tipp City, Ohio
SIP COFFEE Co. Christmas Menu
(from their Instagram)
HEARTHSIDE
espresso, milk
hazelnut, brown sugar, nutmeg
MERRY LIL’ NOVA
espresso, milk, peppermint,
a touch of sweetened condensed milk
SIPTRUS + SPICE
a cardemom capp
garnished w/ orange zest + cinnamon
I want to try the other flavors, but I love the Merry Lil’Nova because of the fresh peppermint!
SIP offers fresh pastries & a limited menu. We highly recommend the Savory Avocado Toast (and adding a hard boiled egg)!
Special note for first time guests at SIP: it is a cozy operation & seating inside is very limited. If you visit this December or winter, wear an extra layer in case seating is full. Visit our other shops or take a scenic walk to the East side of Main Street toward the Roller Mill and you will be rewarded with gorgeous views at the edge of our town. It’s my favorite walking route.
Canal Lock Park leads you to the Great Miami River Trail which is wonderfully accessible in Tipp (we have additional entry points with parking). My family uses it frequently & my son, Kevin, used to cycle from Tipp to Troy often!
Please show your support for Sip Coffee Co. by sharing your favorite drink or menu item!
Follow them for updates on Facebook & Instagram.
Today, Friday December 5, 2025 is Tipp’s Moonlight & Mistletoe After Hours Shopping event. Grab a cup of coffee & enjoy horse drawn carriages, discounts at merchants, and more. You can view details on this Facebook event page!
When I started taking pictures of Tipp in the snow, I just wanted to share snippets of the town. It’s becoming really fun to create these posts. If you like them, please share with someone who might enjoy them.
I’ve created this series to show why our town is such a beautiful place to live and visit. I’m thankful for all of you who are sharing memories of living in Tipp or what you love most about the shops & dining here. I want everyone to see Tipp City for the treasure that it is!
If you love the images, sending a photography referral my way is one of the kindest ways to support my work. I am in the process of offering prints from my Tipp City photographs on my website… stay tuned! If you are interested in my art, comment to let me know which ones you would like to see in your home or to gift someone you love. Thank you!
