Thank you for visiting my photography site!

My approach is simple, kind, and direct. Our connection starts at the initial consultation to ensure we are prepared to work toward creating images you will love. I gently communicate my ideas & allow room to patiently work towards achieving both eloquent and intimate printed photographs. I am discreetly proficient with my equipment, while also being sensitive to the energy of those around me.

My style pulls from elements of fine art theory, but I am a discerning director that takes time to build a set that facilitates genuine expressions of both people and pets in my portraits. I enjoy collaborating with my clients to understand their goals & vision for how they want to be photographed for their legacy.

It’s hard to believe Kevin was three years old when I accepted my first photography assignment, and now he is a high school graduate. Damian is taking after his older brother with his excitement for music.

I live in Tipp City with two sons, Kevin and Damian, who are both now towering over me. We are big fans of movie nights and Mexican cuisine. Kevin is teaching me how to play guitar & Damian is an avid percussionist. It is an honor to be their mama.

We are surrounded by more guitars & drums than I ever imagined…

and I love every moment of it.

I have been a freelance photographer since 2009, primarily photographing weddings and family portraits. It has been brought to my attention that my goals are unusual. Believe me, I often wonder how art & science will intersect in my future. I truly believe they share a dynamic alliance in our universe. I move toward my academic goals (slowly), while appreciating the gift of being your photographer.

I’m an amateur baker transitioning into full fledged “plant lady.” Have an assortment of plants that bring me quite a bit of joy.

Early in 2023, I decided it was the year of “action.” So I am finally getting around to my home DIY projects & making the flower garden of my dreams.

Scientist & Photographer

In 2015, I returned to Wright State as a single mom in my early thirties. With both of my sons in school, I took classes during the day & began working overnights in the emergency department as a part-time scribe.

In summer of 2018, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience. My undergraduate honors thesis research was about observing cytokine activity (tiny protein cell signals) in the brain after stressful events. I finished my Master's Degree in Physiology + Neuroscience from Wright State in spring of 2021. I was proud to finish after experiencing COVID-19 challenges as a parent & student.

I work full-time as a Clinical Research Manager at the University of Cincinnati, in Neurology, with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or Multiple Sclerosis.

I’ve written more about my medical journey on my personal blog, AndreaMolina.co
